Jennifer Landon is also the daughter of actor Michael Landon and Cindy Clerico, his third wife. She is the half-sister of playwright Christopher B. Landon and filmmaker Michael Landon, Jr.; her adopted brother is actor Mark Landon. She attended Brentwood School before relocating to New York City to attend New York University, where she performed in various theatre shows. Although her father was raised Jewish, her paternal grandpa was Jewish, and her paternal grandmother was Catholic.
