He gained 353 yards and four touchdown receptions. With one second left in the game in the 2017 College Football Playoff National Championship against the Alabama Crimson Tide, he grabbed quarterback Deshaun Watson’s touchdown pass for the winning score. Renfrow was awarded the Burlsworth Trophy in 2018, presented to the top collegiate athlete who started as a walk-on. He significantly deteriorated in his last collegiate season in 2018, with just 49 catches for 544 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown.
