Beth Cefalu’s Controversies

The last video shows the Governor of New York asking reporter Beth Cefalu to “eat all the sausages” at the state fair three times. In the video, the Democratic governor encourages journalist Beth Cefalu to eat his whole Gianelli sauce sandwich at the 2016 New York State Fair. “I want to watch you eat the whole sausage,” Cuomo says gently to Cefalu as she sits calmly next to her daughter Michaela. Cuomo’s former aide is seen feeding Cefalu a lunch. “I’m not sure if I should eat the whole sausage in front of you,” Cefalu answered, “but I’ll eat it.” Cuomo then invites Cefalu to his office. Before eating, Cefalu holds up his meal and takes a selfie with the governor. “Too many sausages in that photo,” Cuomo added, eliciting laughs from the rest of the group.
